message from the past! O.o

ok so a year ago i sent my self an email to have delivered yesterday and here's what it said:
Dear Future Version of Me,
How is eighth grade? do I have a dog yet? i really hope I do. I love dogs! How was seventh grade camp? Lots of fun probably. I don\'t like peanuts! I still have the expander in. It\'s rather annoying. I\'m so sorry that Cinnamin died. I know that she will be dead by the time I get this. Hopefully eighth grade version of me is smarter and a better musician than the seventh grade version of me. My favorite song of the year is Our Song. give it a listen for me; just for the memories of seventh grade ya know? Well, see you in the future!

p.s. am i still meli?

CAMP!

i should probably post again, but all the stuff i want to post about will take too long to type and for you guys to read. but too bad i'll do it anyway. even though i have homework to do. lots of it. so the camp was fun and we did lots of stuff like xc skiing, snoeshoeing, tubing (this was really fun because you didn't have to pull your tube back up they latch it to a rope that drags you to the top of the hill! and then at the top you could go down by yourself, or with two people or three or four or five or six... you get it.), and i went to my first hockey game (it was semi-pro and it was inTENSE!!!! there were a bunch of fights and people banging into the walls with only the glass separating me and the person (that was kind of scary since it was so close). it went into over time because both teams had four points! then over time ran out so they did that thing where they take turns shooting into the goals. each team gets five of these. and then both teams had two goals and then traverse city (the team we were rooting for since we were staying there) mad another goal and won! pretty exciting first hockey game!), ice skating, downhill skiing for my first time (i hated this at first because the boots were soooooooo uncomfortable you have NO IDEA HOW MUCH THEY HURT!!!! but then i adjusted them and they felt better. :) and then i LOVED downhill skiing!), snowboarding for the first time (i only went on the bunny hill tho. when we started, we were 1/4 up the bunny hill (which was tiny) i still did really bad. then we went 1/2 up the bunny hill and i did really really bad. the bad thing about going up part of the way was we couldn't use the magic carpet thing to go up. one foot was strapped in, and the other one would have to drag you up. very uncomfortable. and then when you were waiting for your turn, you had to have all your weight on one foot or you would go down the hill and that hurt so much! the way i was angled it just really really hurt. so i mostly sat down. when i went down from half way, the instuctor person held our hands and walked backward with us. that day it was REALLY REALLY icy so it was hard to do anything. when i dragged myself up again and was ready to go down, i had some troubles. first i ran into charlotte. i was trying to turn away from her but it didn't exactly work. she was holding hands with the instructor person. when i ran into her from behind, we both fell and her instructor person caught both of us! it was amazing! he was small for his age i think so it was weird. he was kind of cute tho. =D and when i got to the bottom of the hill, lindsey was just standing there and i still didn't get how to turn. my instructor person told me (after i ran into charlotte) that if i was going to run into someone i should just sit down. i didn't want to run into lindsey so i sat down. i guess i sat down a little too hard because i hurt my tailbone and it still hurts. i didn't really like snowboarding), and ummm we had a new year's party which i told some of you about, and we went shopping down-town, and there was a lot of drama between girls (one girl hated another's guts but the other one didn't know what she did, two girls came together and one said that the other was being different in a bad way and it was because of the girl that the first girl didn't like and blaaaaah.) i found my little clique the first day when i asked if i could play scattagories with them. there were five of us, but one girl kind of pushed herself in after awhile. i didn't mind her, but some other people did. the two girls who came together were in our clique and they kind of stopped talking. it was kind of confusing. they would complain about eachother behind their backs and yea. there were two 11 year olds who seemed annoying at first but they turned out to not be that bad...they were obsessed with the jb's and hung disney poster's all over their room and door. XD our room only had three people in it (the smallest room) and we were really quiet and the counselor's loved us at bedtime. we tried to make mittens one night but mine didn't work out (i couldn't get my hand in!) so i left them there. so the camp was fun and sorry for making a big deal out of it before i went. :( and i'm really sorry for making this post so long but if you read this far, thank you!
